Angela Chittenden, Beach Bunny Swimwear

For over six years, swimsuit model Angela Chittenden graced the pages of magazines such as Maxim, Stuff, FHM, Oxygen and Ocean Drive. She always had trouble though, finding a swimwear line that was sexy, yet classy and rock ‘n’ roll, and with a feminine touch. So in 2004, Angela went behind the scenes and introduced her very own line, Beach Bunny Swimwear.

Angela’s brave plunge into the swimwear industry has proven incredibly successful. Beach Bunny Swimwear has already attracted celebrity fans such as Eva Longoria, Salma Hayek, Jessica Alba, Sienna Miller and Jessica Simpson, to name a few, and has been featured in almost every major magazine worldwide. In just three years, Beach Bunny Swimwear has already found its niche in the swimwear industry - sexy, fun swimwear for that sexy, fun girl!

Angela describes her customers as “fun-loving women of any age who exude self-confidence and charisma.” Beach Bunny’s swimsuits are definitely made to be seen! Even the name, Beach Bunny, conveys the line’s typical buyer – sassy, audacious and willing to strut on the beach! “Beach Bunny is not for the shy consumer. We have a ‘girls just wanna have fun’ motto that we like to live by!”

When designing her collection each season, Angela draws insight from upscale lingerie and travels the world to find unique ideas, inspiration and fabrics. In addition to swimwear, Chittenden introduced Beach Bunny Loungewear to her 2008 collection which includes gorgeous chiffon tunics and micro modal dresses and jumpers that can be worn on, or off the beach.

Angela still resides in Newport Beach and is busy raising her 2-year-old daughter. So how does this supermodel mom wind down? “I love spending time outdoors and with my daughter and family. That is what life is about and I love it.” And with a toddler, a brand new collection underway and plans to expand Beach Bunny Swimwear into an international brand, Angela Chittenden doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.
