I love to check out fashion forums and online shopping social networks like Kaboodle – it’s a great way for me to find out about new products, see different trends emerging and also, share my thoughts with other like-minded individuals. Today, when crawling the net, I headed to StyleHive to see what great new swimwear finds were hot on the agenda, only to come across one of my favourite designer swimsuits this season, the sexy bikini Lyin’ Eyes by Beach Bunny Swimwear. Since it was time for Bikini of the Week, I thought it must have been fate that pulled me in this direction… not to mention it being one incredibly beautiful swimsuit!

Beach Bunny Swimwear designer Angela Chittenden is one of the designer swimwear industry’s most formidable talents. Here at Azura Swimwear, we continue to be blown away by her sexy new swimwear… time and time again. Undeniably, she pioneered the sexy-yet-sleek lingerie look, however her more ‘traditional’ styled swimwear is equally progressive. Take the Lyin’ Eyes for example – in many ways, it’s a standard halter top bikini. However with Beach Bunny’s use of detailing, sexy bikini cut, as well as use of fabric design, Angela Chittenden has taken this swimsuit to soaring new heights.

Beach Bunny has never been one to follow trends, setting a standard and style of its own. I just love this daring attitude as it creates such diversity within the swimwear styles we see. We can see this best with Beach Bunny’s use of three string copper bead detailing at the bikini bottom sides and at the bust – where many designers this season have been using metal rings, Beach Bunny has opted for their own unique approach. That’s not to say that Beach Bunny’s use of detailing is necessarily better, but it’s great to see something different. Personally, I find these copper strings add a sophisticated look mixed in with a little raw-rock, another look Beach Bunny Swimwear does incredibly well.

Lyin Eyes is one of those swimsuits that is simple enough to have a broad range of use – perfect for the pool or for the beach – and is also something you could wear all season. However like all Beach Bunny swimsuits, it has a point of difference that will ensure you stand out. It’s hard to say which look is better, the white or animal print. Personally, I love the animal print – with a blue overlay, it’s really unique and a great take on the standard look. That being said, it’s hard to go past a stunning white swimsuit… I know I have difficulties at least!

Whoever picked out this swimsuit and submitted it to StyleHive, and the others who voted for it too, undeniably have great style… So take it from the crowds, the Lyin’ Eyes by Beach Bunny Swimwear is a hit!
