It’s that time of year again and boy are we excited. Yes, it’s the designer swimwear tradeshow season and we’re writing to you live from one of the biggest women’s swimwear trade shows of the year MAGIC in Las Vegas.

With the release of the new women’s swimwear collections each July in Miami at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Miami Swim, the following few months are followed by a slew of trade shows like MAGIC, giving us, your wonderful swimwear stockists, the opportunity of reviewing (and going crazy over) the following year’s range.

MAGIC is an annual fashion trade show covering everything from handbags to designer jeans to accessories. And, of course, let us not forget its specialty division SWIM, a showcase of some of the most coveted designer swimwear labels in the industry.

Last year we got to know many of the leading designer swimwear brands and over the course of the three-day show, we sourced and selected the best swimwear designs and swimwear designers we could find. It’s a truly exciting time of year for us here at Azura Swimwear - it’s definitely a lot of fun to be in amongst the action and exposed to all these beautiful and sexy swimsuits. But there’s also a degree of self-imposed pressure as we strive to bring you the most amazing designer swimwear suits available.

Last year our hot picks were none other than Beach Bunny Swimwear, Maya Swimwear, Sauvage Swimwear, Birdie Jo and Red Carter. As day one begins in just a few hours, it will be exciting to see who will capture our eye this year with their 2009 designer swimwear collection.
